Clarity now supports Ethereum Layer 2’s & testnets for token-gating and task rewards. Clarity 2.0 (Phase 2) adds support for tokens & NFTs on Polygon, Gnosis Chain, Arbitrum One, Avalanche, Optimism, Rinkeby, Ropsten, and Goerli. All of Clarity's token-enabled features now support L2 tokens: Create & share token-gated docs & invite links, add token rewards to tasks & projects, split rewards, and easily pay out contributors, create custom roles that only token holders can equip.
Clarity 2.0 makes Clarity more simple, modular, and personal. This sets the stage for powerful integrations and a more accessible experience for your contributors. We're incorporating everything we've learned from working with contributors across dozens of DAOs to craft new features and better understand the new ways we can support them.
The DAO contributor experience is disjointed & confusing because we must work around Web2 access control. To solve this, we're launching token-based roles & permissions in Clarity. Join a DAO, get roles based on your tokens, claim contributions, and get paid. The functionality we've been introducing over the last few months is turning into a cohesive contributor experience.
Bounty payouts are tedious & time-consuming to manage. So, we teamed up with Cabin DAO to figure out a solution. Clarity is now a single source of truth for both project coordination & payout details. This shortens the payout process from days to minutes. Add a token reward to any task or project, split a reward amongst multiple contributors, and export CSVs for batch payouts. We even capture the USD value of the sent tokens for accounting purposes. No setup required. It just works.
